Match referee Harvinder Sodhi had put off his decision until Thursday evening, after the end of the match. Following a close inspection of video replays, Sodhi vindicated the Maharashtra team’s stand and charged Kukade with ball tampering, while dropping the complaint against Patil.Maharashtra won the game by an innings and 13 runs.
