Last man Asif Jan was unable tobat. Rahul Sanghvi picked up the bowling honours for India A taking4-23. Amit Bhandari and Karthik Murali took two wickets each.India A however failed to make the most of the opportunity for someuseful batting practice as they were all out for 163 in their secondknock. Sameer Dighe was the top scorer with 49 and he and HarvinderSodhi (31) put on 56 for the sixth wicket in the only sizablepartnership of the innings. Jacob Martin who top scored with 81 in theIndian first innings total of 227, made only 11 this timearound. Dodda Ganesh was unable to bat having strained a muscle (hebowled only three overs in the Trinidad innings).Spinners Mukesh Persad (5-46) and Dinanath Ramnarine (3-53) were amongthe wickets again. They finished with match hauls of eight wicketseach and Ramnarine got the Man of the Match award for his labours.Play was called off after Trinidad & Tobago had batted out seven oversto finish at 14-0. India A go on to play West Indies A in a four daymatch at the Queens Park Oval starting November 19.
